We offer a wide range of Diver Training Course from The International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers. IANTD is a worldwide training agency offering both recreational and technical diver training.

Being the first agency in the world to offer Nitrox Training, they have since become one of the biggest trainers of technical diving, present in most areas of the world.

IANTD UK has grown from it begins as the first Nitrox and Technical Diver training agency in Europe in 1991 to its position at the forefront of technical diver training, offering the widest range of courses available anywhere.

BASICS & FUNDAMENTALS

Our introductory courses will help you on your first steps to becoming a technical diver, be it simply using Nitrox for the first time as a recreational or sports diver to your first dives with a twin set and stage cylinder.

NITROX DIVER

The IANTD Nitrox Diver course is designed to introduce you to the concepts of diving on enriched air nitrox. This course is designed to complement your existing training, providing a qualification for diving with 21% to 40% Nitrox down to depths of 39m.

RECREATIONAL TRIMIX DIVER

For those divers who plan to progress through the range of technical diver course, then the Recreational Trimix Diver course maybe more beneficial. Designed to introduce the concepts of diving with gas mixtures containing helium, the Recreation Trimix Diver course can be taught on its own to divers already nitrox qualified, or combined with the Nitrox Diver course.

DEEP DIVER

The IANTD Deep Diver course helps introduce the basics of Technical Diving, and prepares the Student for higher courses. Designed to be taught in conjunction with one the IANTD nitrox courses, the Deep Diver course will provide proper training in the safe deep diving skills needed for technical diving

ADVANCED NITROX DIVER

The Advanced Nitrox Diver course is designed to further develop the diving skills you already have and provides a greater understanding of the Enriched Air Nitrox concept of diving. Introducing limited decompression diving, with stops up to 15mins, and utilizing gas mixtures up to 100% for accelerated decompression, the IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver is your first major step towards technical diving.

ADVANCED RECREATIONAL TRIMIX DIVER

Taking you one step further than Advanced Nitrox, the IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix Diver course gives you the same skill development combined with the more advanced use of Recreational Trimix’s. The Advanced Recreational Trimix course is not designed to entice you deeper, but to make your sports diving safer

ADVANCED OPEN CIRCUIT COURSES

Our advanced technical courses are designed to build on the fundamentals covered in the earlier training courses and the experience you should already have as a diver

TECHNICAL DIVER

The IANTD Technical Diver course is designed to train the student to dive using custom EANx mixtures to depths of up to 54m. Extending on the knowledge taught during Advanced Nitrox or Advanced Recreational Trimix courses, emphasis is made more upon the diving skills, with particular attention to accents and decompression procedure.

NORMOXIC TRIMIX DIVER

For thoses divers who wish to leave the Sports diving range, the IANTD Normoxic Trimix Diver course teaches the use of Trimix’s and decompression gases to depths of upto 60m. Taught either stand alone, or more typically combined with Technical Diver, the IANTD Normoxic Trimix Diver course will test your skills developed from your Advanced Nitrox or Advanced Recreational Trimix course while introducing many new concepts. The Normoxic Trimix Diver course can be taught inshore or offshore

TRIMIX DIVER

The IANTD Trimix Diver course is designed to enhance the skills and techniques of those already involved in deep diving activities, but is not intended to be used as an enticement to divers who are content to remain in the Sport and EANx diving limits.

SIDE MOUNT DIVING

We can offer Side Mount Diver Courses at all levels listed above, or as a basic introductory course. If you are already Side Mount qualified, you can complete any of the Open Circuit courses listed above in Side Mount Configuration. If you need a Side Mount qualification, the courses below cover both Side Mount diving and diving at their appropriate level.

OPEN WATER SIDE MOUNT DIVER

The IANTD Open Water Side Mount Diver course covers all the basics of Side Mount Diving and Equipment Configuration. Once completed, you will be qualified to dive at your current diving level, but using Side Mount Configurations

ADVANCED NITROX SIDE MOUNT DIVER COMBINED

Complete the IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver Course in conjunction with Open Water Side Mount Diver.

ADVANCED RECREATIONAL TRIMIX SIDE MOUNT DIVER COMBINED

Complete the IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix Diver Course in conjunction with Open Water Side Mount Diver.

NORMOXIC TRIMIX SIDE MOUNT DIVER COMBINED

Complete the IANTD Normoxic Trimix Diver Course in conjunction with Open Water Side Mount Diver.

CLOSED CIRCUIT COURSES

For those wishing to take full advantage of modern closed circuit rebreather technology, we can offer the full range of IANTD rebreather course.

CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER TRY DIVES

A Closed Circuit Rebreather Try Dive gives you the chance to try out different rebreathers before commiting to the full course. Try a Closed Circuit Rebreather in Both Confined and / or Open Water.

CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER DIVER

AIR OR ART DILUENT (MOD 1)
The IANTD Closed Circuit Rebreather course introduces the Student to the basics of CCR diving, from general rebreather functions to emergency skills. Emphasis is placed on time in water, where will complete up to 8 dives and over 500mins of in water time.

CLOSED CIRCUIT NORMOXIC TRIMIX REBREATHER DIVER

(MOD 2)
Taking you further into the advantages of CCR use, the Technical or Normoxic CCR course will allow you to demonstrate your skills developed since your MOD 1 course, while covering the more advanced use of CCRs as tools for exploration diving.

CLOSED CIRCUIT TRIMIX REBREATHER DIVER

(MOD 3)
The IANTD Trimix Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver course is designed to train divers in the safer use and technology of Rebreathers for deep diving to depths of up to 100m.

ADDITIONAL COURSES

For those wishing to add further to their diving knowledge and skills.

NITROX GAS BLENDER

The IANTD Nitrox Gas Blender Courses teaches you to safely prepare Nitrox mixtures, as well as the theory behind oxygen cleaning and compatability

TRIMIX GAS BLENDER

The IANTD Trimix Gas Blender builds on the Nitrox Blenders Knowledge allowing them to safely blend gas mixtures containing helium.
