Our one day First Aid courses covers all the requirements of an introductory first aid course. A Certification upgrade to the HSE approved Level 2 Award Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification is also available on this course.

This half day course covers the administration of Oxygen, however unlike most Diver Oxygen Admin Courses, this is a full medical gases and airway management courses. The qualification not only entitles you to administer oxygen to diving casualties but also to any other member of the public in a first aid scenario (something Diver Oxygen Admin courses do not qualify you to do). In addition, we also look extensively at Airway Management, including the use of oropharyngeal airways (also known as an oral airways, OPA or Guedel pattern airways) and Bag Valve Mask (BVM) during resuscitation. As this course is a full medical gases courses, we also spend a short amount of time looking at the use of Entonox and the consequences for use by divers.

Available in both half day and full day options, these courses cover the use of AED’s during resuscitation. Again, this is not just a ‘diver’ qualification. We recommend combining the 1/2 day AED and Medical Gases courses to make a full day of advanced resuscitation techniques.
