Sidemount diving is enjoying a rise in polularity at the moment, with many traditional recreational and technical equipment manufactuters producing sidemount set ups.
Sorting out your sidemount equipment configuration can take many, many dives. For that reason, we always recomend completing a sidemount diver course. To help you along the way, Jeff Loflin and Jill Heinerth have produced a sidemount DVD. This is by no way a replacement for proper training from an instructor, but is a great resource for during your training. If you thinking of going down the sidemount route, this DVD will give you an idea of the equipment involved.
