The IANTD courses below are designed to compliments your skills and diving as a sports diver, and prepare you for further training as a technical diver. Each course will introduce the basic concepts of diving with gases other than air along with the basic concepts of Technical Diving
Nitrox Diver
The IANTD Nitrox Diver course is designed to introduce you to the concepts of diving on enriched air nitrox. This course is designed to complement your existing training, providing a qualification for diving with 21% to 40% Nitrox down to depths of 39m.
Recreational Trimix Diver
For those divers who plan to progress through the range of technical diver course, then the Recreational Trimix Diver course maybe more beneficial. Designed to introduce the concepts of diving with gas mixtures containing helium, the Recreation Trimix Diver course can be taught on its own to divers already nitrox qualified, or combined with the Nitrox Diver course.
Deep Diver
The IANTD Deep Diver course helps introduce the basics of Technical Diving, and prepares the Student for higher courses. Designed to be taught in conjunction with one the IANTD nitrox courses, the Deep Diver course will provide proper training in the safe deep diving skills needed for technical diving
Advanced Nitrox Diver
The Advanced Nitrox Diver course is designed to further develop the diving skills you already have and provides a greater understanding of the Enriched Air Nitrox concept of diving. Introducing limited decompression diving, with stops up to 15mins, and utilizing gas mixtures up to 100% for accelerated decompression, the IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver is your first major step towards technical diving. Whether you are planning to go all the way as an Open Circuit Trimix Diver, or move on to Closed Circuit Rebreather diving, the Advanced Nitrox Course is you first step.
Advanced Recreational Trimix
Taking you one step further than Advanced Nitrox, the IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix Diver course gives you the same skill development combined with the more advanced use of Recreational Trimix’s. The Advanced Recreational Trimix course is not designed to entice you deeper, but to make your sports (<48m) diving safer and more enjoyable, thanks to the use of trimix to reduce narcosis and the utilization of accelerated decompression.
